Founded in 2008, Jamison and Leslie Savage moved to Panama and established Finca Deborah, an extreme elevation farm known for the exotic Geisha variety. Savage Coffees now includes three other farms: Iris, Morgan, and Don Eduardo Estate.
For the past thirteen years, Savage Coffees has pioneered coffee flavor development, being the first to commercially use Carbonic Maceration. Inspired by the wine industry, Jamison has adopted advanced techniques like Biodynamic cultivation, Carbonic Maceration, and Anaerobic processing. Applying these traditionally wine-associated techniques to coffee has unlocked new levels of complexity, flavour, and richness.
