Hacienda Barbara, owned by the Rogers family (of the San Francisco Bay Coffee Company) is led by Hunter Tedman and Linda Michelle Arauz, overseeing production across three regions—Boquete, Renacimiento, and Potrerillos. The estate includes three farms: Bárbara (1,450–1,650 masl), La Huaca (1,400-1,700 masl) and Las Brujas (1,500 and 2,100 masl), the newest of the three. Sustainability is central to the operation, with roughly 50% of the land maintained as protected forest to preserve biodiversity.
Since its two decades of production, Hacienda Barbara has built a strong record at the Best of Panama competition, earning 1st Place in the Traditional Washed category in 2016, 2019 and 2nd place in 2018. Most recently they won 5th Place with a Pacamara Honey in 2022.
