Producer background
The Lamastus Family has been producing coffee for four generations since 1918. The Family Estate is comprised of four Estates—Elida, El Burro, Luito and the latest one Trompo. Around half of the Elida Estate farm is located within the Volcan Baru National Park, a protected ecological reserve. All the farms are located in different areas of the highlands of Panama, making each one different from each other for its unique microclimate and microorganisms surrounding them and the Terroir.
The Lamastus Family Estates won first in the Geisha Natural category at the BoP 2024 with the Elida Geisha Natural Torre (95.13) and second place in 2025 with the Elida Geisha Washed Torre lot scoring 95.38 SCA points. The Estates are four-time Panama Cup Champions and have finished first place seven times at different Best of Panama competitions.
